We primarily stock handbags and accessories that come directly from the brand's boutiques. Our items are typically accompanied with the same items that come with the bag when purchased at the boutique, including original box and dust bags. Crocodile, alligator and lizard items are typically accompanied by a CITES if new or never worn. Most new or never worn Hermès handbags (and some Chanel handbags) have the original or a copy of the original receipt, which can be provided on request. Please note that all receipts are redacted to hide the original buyer's information.

Madison Avenue Couture classifies conditions as following:
New
The item is in boutique-fresh condition and has never been used; it comes with all of its original accompaniments.
Never Worn
The item has never been worn but is several years old and has been stored. Plastic is on the hardware. It may show minor storage wear, such as natural aging of the leather or it may be missing of a single accompaniment.
Pre-Owned Mint
The item is in near pristine condition. It has been worn no more than a few times but shows virtually no signs of wear on the leather or hardware. Plastic may be removed from all or some of the hardware. Items often come with most of the original accompaniments.
Pre-Owned Excellent
The item has been used but is still in beautiful condition. There will be minor signs of wear to the leather and/or hardware but the wear does not distract from the overall look of the item.
Pre-Owned Very Good
The item shows clear signs of use to the leather/and or hardware but is still in very wearable condition.
Vintage Mint
The item is vintage but given its age is in near pristine condition. There may be minimal wear to the leather and/or hardware and slight signs of natural aging. Signs of natural aging can (but do not necessarily) include slight loss of structure and/or loss of puffiness to the quilting of the leather.
Vintage Excellent
The item is vintage and shows natural signs of aging. This item will also have some wear to the leather and/or hardware.
Vintage Very Good
The item is vintage and shows natural signs of aging with moderate wear to the leather and/or hardware.
